Do You Remember
There was a lot that happened during this year. Major events, people, and news items all helped to shape it. They were of all types--good, bad, and ugly. Let's test your knowledge about what you can remember. Whether it was domestic, or international, Each trivia question will be based on a newsworthy item and I will play an audio clue to help you along. To make things interesting, we'll have super size cards, where you can bet the booty and gain more points for your team.
Dragon Slayer Trivia
Dragon Slayer Trivia is played with two opposing teams answering trivia questions for points and seeking the dragon for bonus points during the regular round and avoiding the dragon in the final bonus round.
Regular Round:
Before a turn is taken the dragon is hidden behind one of nine spots and the bonus is set to 50 points. A turn starts with a team being posed a random trivia question for 10 points. A one minute timer is started and the team captain or designee must give an answer before time is up or lose control of the question. There are no penalties for wrong answers. If the answer is wrong or time runs out the timer is set for 30 seconds for the 5 point steal. Whichever team guesses correctly they are awarded their points and the team captain sends out a team member with the Slayer's Sword to slay the dragon for bonus points. If the slayer finds the dragon the team is awarded the bonus points, if the slayer doesn't find the dragon that selection is out of play and the bonus is reduced by 5 points. Gameplay alternates to the opposing team for the next question. If neither team gets the answer correct, gameplay moves on without the dragon slayer bonus attempt.
Avoid the Dragon - Final Bonus Round:
In the final bonus round the dragon is hidden behind one of nine spots and the team that is behind goes first. Each time that the team selects a spot and avoids the dragon 50 points is added to the bonus. If the team finds the dragon on the first selection, you wake up from that bad dream and get only one restart. After each time of avoiding the dragon the team can choose to keep the points accumulated to that point or go on for another 50 points. If the dragon is revealed then the bonus points are lost. If the team is brave enough to accumulate 400 points they will double their bonus. After the first team is done the opposing team gets a chance to do the same.

Ghost
Ghost is a game in which players take turns building words. The host begins by listing people in the order of play. The first person on the list is then asked to give a letter to start a word. Each player then adds a letter to what already exists. Words consisting of three letters or less are not counted against players. The idea is not to complete a word when it is your turn but to keep it going. Proper nouns, that is, names of persons and places are not permitted. If you add the final letter to a legitimate word in an American-English dictionary, whether intentional or not, you will receive the next letter of the word GHOST. Your first mistake or stroke of bad luck earns you the G, your second earns you the H, and so on. When you receive the T, you’re out of the game. The last player not to have received their T is the winner. During game play, you can try bluffing, but if you are challenged by the next player and you do not have a word in mind, you get a letter. If you don’t think that the player before you has a legitimate word in mind, you can challenge that player. If they are correct, you get the letter. Each time you are not present when it is your turn to play you will receive a letter. If you leave a game early, transferring your score to another person who just entered the room is not permitted. No online searches or searches of any kind are to be done unless a word has been questioned. You have to play only using your vocabulary and word knowledge. If you arrive late, and someone has already been given a letter or more, in fairness to all players, you will start with the letters of the player who is closest to becoming a GHOST. Therefore, arriving late is a strategic mistake.

Jeopardy
Here on Out-Of-Site Jeopardy is played pretty much the same as on television, with two major differences. Contestants are divided into two teams each having a captain. After the host reads the question, each team is given a set amount of time to discuss possible answers. When time is called, the captain either chooses an answer which is given in the form of a question, just as on the TV show, or assigns a team member to do so. The other difference between the TV show and Jeopardy here on Out-Of-Sight is that on TV the winner wins cash; while here on Out-Of-Sight, we win points and have fun.

It’s questions mixed between trivia and riddles. Multiple teams, no captains, no score keepers, and no timers, so everyone can play. You will not win points here, just cards. Each card has 10 questions and every answer starts with the same letter, which the host will give before the card starts. Your team controls the card as long as you keep answering correctly, but one wrong answer results in a all play where every team will have the chance to steal control of the card. Whoever answers the last question on the card correctly wins the card.
