Hosted by Nat Armeni and Wendy Pettit Played on the second Friday of the month at 8 pm.
Based on the popular television show, with a minor change in the fast money round. Nat and Wendy try to make The Out-Of-Sight version a hoot to play. The players are split up to make two teams with each having a captain. The survey questions and answers are taken directly from actual Family Feud surveys used on the television show. A round will begin by one member of each team doing a Face Off. The host will ask a question and it is up to the Face Off players to try to get the most popular answer on the survey. The most popular answer would be the Number One answer. So, whoever gets the Number One answer, or, whoever gets closest to it wins control for their team. Winning control of the question, means that the team will now work on trying to guess the remaining answers in the survey. Wendy will call out who is next and at that point the announced person is to give an answer. The host will let them know if that answer made it on to the survey. The team gets up to three wrong guesses, before the opposing team has an opportunity to steal the points. If the first team clears the board before getting three strikes, they will get a bonus of 10 points and they will get the total points for that survey. If it goes to the opposing team for a possible steel, and they guess any of the remaining answers on the survey, they get to steal the points. Eight rounds are played. The first 4 rounds are regular point value, rounds five and six the point value is doubled, rounds seven and eight the point value is tripled.
The final portion of the game is called Fast Money. This is where we alter the game from the popular television show. We have 4 different topics with 13 items on each one. In this round Nat will say something like name me a car made by the Ford Company. It would be up to the designated team to key up and give answers until the 2 minutes are up. Then Nat along with help by the players tally up the answers on his list compared to what the team gave. Each correct answer is worth 5 points each giving the team a possible 65 total point value. In this fast money each team will have 2 questions to answer. From time to time, Nat creates his own surveys that folks have an opportunity to complete Then, those survey questions and answers will be a part of an upcoming game. Those surveys are widely advertised to the Out-Of-Sight membership via the What's Happening daily e-mail, and on the e-mail Chat List. We hope to have an annual Family Feud tournament. We hope to catch you at the game!
