Lucky Roll is a dice game where players compete against each other to have one of the top 5 averages at the end of a quarter to play in the championship
finals. The tournament is played over 25 games and a players top 20 scores count toward their average. The winner of the final championship wins a $50
prize to be paid either by PayPal or an Amazon gift certificate sponsored by generous Lucky Roll players, and Out Of Sight.
Game time is every Tuesday and Friday at 5:00 p.m. eastern. To help the game run smoothly and fair, the following rules apply. The host is the official
of the game rules and host's decisions are final.
1. At the beginning of the game the Roller will roll a "Lucky Number" by rolling all 6 dice. Any rolls of the "Lucky Number" during the game counts as a
500 point bonus. The bonus can only be collected if the current player is able to keep their points in their turn.
2. The player roster is set up alphabetically according to the players first name. At the end of each round, before the scores are read, the host will
call for players who have arrived after the roster has passed their name. They will be given a turn at this time and added to the roster in normal alphabetic
order for the next round. A call for late arriving players will be made after the last person on the roster has played in every round other than the final
round.
3. At the beginning of each player’s turn, the Roller calls the player’s name and rolls 6 dice. If after a few seconds the player has not responded, the
roller will call their name a second time. After a few more seconds have passed, the current player is skipped, and the next player’s name is called, and
the dice are replayed and the same rule applies. In subsequent rounds a skipped player is only called once and must respond within a few seconds or have
their turn skipped again. There is no need to interrupt the game if you've been skipped, you will be called again on your next turn. If the current player
is having trouble getting the key and leaves before they are timed out, they should leave the client and return to the game in a reasonable length of time
to continue their turn.
4. When the dice are rolled, the player must tell the roller what they see And what they want to do. For example, what you see could be a full house, 3 twos
and 2 fives or 1500 points all would be valid. What you want to do, in this case, could be roll one, roll the rest or keep the points. Any invalid calls
is brought to the players attention and will be asked to listen to the dice a second time. Players may be given some assistance by the roller, but won't be told what to do.
5. The current player may request that the dice be replayed following the initial roll. After the replay, Rule 4 applies again.
6. If the roller gives you a second chance roll, this means that you are probably missing a better point combination than you had stated. You will have a
few seconds to change your call, if not, your original call will stand.
7. If after two attempts by the player to follow rule 4 are not successful the player will be awarded the total score of the dice for the current round
if it is a valid amount, and the turn will go to the next player.
8. A player is "On the bench" when their point total is 0 and they may only keep their points in a turn if they have accumulated 1000 points, but need
only score 300 points to bank after "Getting off the bench."
9. The roller will only take instructions from the player, no one else can speak for the player.
10. Total scores are read after the second and subsequent rounds. At the end of the round that any player has scored 10000 points or more, one final round
is played. The player with the highest score at the end of the final round is declared winner for the day.
11. Scores are recorded and game results and rankings are posted after each game.
12. At the end of 25 games, the top five scoring players will play a championship game to determine who will be the prize winner for the quarter.
13. The order of play in the championship game will be determined by the top ranked player choosing their position first then second ranked player and
so on.
