What the Word is a brain stimulating game that allows you to demonstrate your command of the English language. Participants are split up into two teams. Then players are matched up in pairs. Your objective is to give your opponent a one, to or three word phrase that their team has to correctly guess. For example, “apple”. Person 1 would privately message Apple to their opponent as well as to Wendy the hostess of the game. Then person 2 would give 3 words not including the mystery phrase, in this case “apple”, to get their team to guess the word “apple”. An example of clues could be mackintosh, red, and fruit. If neither team guesses correctly then one more word is allowed as a clue. If your team guesses correctly on the first try, your team receives 10 points. If your team guesses correctly on the first steel, it is worth 5 points.
Then once the 4th clue is given, if the first team correctly guesses, it is worth 2 points. If they get it on the second steel it is worth 1 point. Come and show us what you are made of!
